Mt. Vernon is awesome. I can't believe we have lived here for 7 years and never thought to go! Fabulous history lesson, beautiful day, and everyone enjoyed it. Well, that is until we found out that the boat ride was cancelled. Sadie cried for-ev-er about that and it pretty much ended the trip for her. But other than that, I LOVED it! Not a ton of pictures because I literally carried Sadie for almost the entire time, but I will definitely always remember this field trip.
