More Gardens and Nana Visits!

Last week, we tried to take advantage of the hot weather and explore more places in our area. It's amazing what is hidden in around here considering the density of the population. But we found some great places and had a good time exploring. Nana came to drop off Winnie. We were really excited to have her here for a few days and dragged her on one of our explorations!

So, updates? Skyler is growing...again. I look at him and can't quite remember when he stopped being a toddler and turned into a little boy. He's crazy full of energy...sometimes he can't quite figure out what to do with it and drives us bananas. We finally had his bike fixed and now he's a biking maniac. LOVES to bike, especially up hills.(I have no idea why!)...go figure.

Sadie. She definitely has a mind of her own and makes it VERY known when she doesn't get her way, which is often. She freaks out to make herself known, and sometimes I can't figure out if she is hurt or just plain mad. She's like a puzzle I'll never solve:) Her new saying is, 'I NEED _____'. Talking is definitely not delayed for our little girl. We were heading down to our friend's house yesterday on our bikes. Sadie saw Jackson (who she has a very big crush on) and yelled, 'Jackon, look, my bike!' multiple times until he acknowledged her. Oh boy...starting young:)

The kids went to grab the mail with Michael. They found some ants....

Pics from a garden that dates back to the 1800's. SO amazing. They are small but you feel like you are in Europe...
