School:)

Skyler had his first day at the new school. He was sooooo nervous and was debating on whether he wanted to get out of the car. In fact we have an ongoing battle with him locking the door from the inside with his foot. Drives me crazy!! And yesterday I made the ridiculous threat that I would keep him in the car next time he did it. It seemed to scare him at the time...but he used it to his advantage today. When we got to school, he locked that door with his foot. Talk about smart. He figured I'd stick to my guns and keep him in that car like I warned him, which of course meant he didn't have to go to school. But I broke that threat and he went and loved it. I saw him on the playground before I picked him up and he was incredibly happy. I'm happy. Right choice:) I know this because on the way home he sighed and said "That was so much fun." I'll try to take pics of school on Friday when he won't be so nervous!
